It is not PI, for me, without the old poetry thread. So here goes....

    Existence is in context,
    Just words upon the wind.
    A figure in the clouds,
    Remnants of how I sinned.

    Never felt your breath,
Had your touch upon my flesh.
The world is full of nevers,
All the rest, I shall repress.

Thank you, babe. I'm sure you know who this one's about. My last hurrah on him. Next I will focus on more relevant and less futile subject matter. Smile x

As darkness now looms, like light, unforgiving.
The autumn returns, to the life of the living.
Tumbling leaves, like moments in time,
    Float endlessly down, reality's mime.
The temperature settles, emotions are balanced,
Fine pleasures are sought, from a bottomless chalice.
Life is for living, a hammer and nail,
The moment we think, is the moment we fail.

roses are red... violets actually sometimes aren't really blue at all. The name even implies it. This is a poetic injustice.

I'd hope not. Love is a very beautiful thing but it also has a torturous hidden back stabbing side... Wink

    Liquid

    Pleasure unbelievable,
    the oh so transparent pain,
    the unequivocal forgotten gain,
    Deluge of emotions battered,
    In this days overpowering rain
    My somewhat soul tattered,
    To memories destroyed forgotten,
    all needs left tainted,
    Unsated

    Recurring

A dreaded, wooden tower nestled high upon a hill,
The whispers of the heart so often fight the strength of will.
A grain of hope embedded in a sea of wavy thought,

Seductions of some order and the chaos that it brought.
With might and fury, living with the best you have to give,

Knowing that the only way to be here is to live.
The gentle, calming nature of distractions you have sought,
Envisioned murky water so the peace that came was nought.

Enlightened by serenity, a simple, rusted zen,
Dust off all the worries, wake yourself and start again.

A dreaded, wooden tower nestled high upon a hill.......

    Stationary

    In perfect poise
    Of tilt an arch
    That stretch of length
    With raising lift
    An bended limb
    Defying gravity's balance
    In marble serenity ....

    Eternally weaved,
    through blankets of time.

    A thirsting, so rampant,
    of friendship, divine.

    A brilliance of unity,
    pleasure complete.

    Untangled and simple,
    a natural feat.

    Belonging, like colours
    shall meet in the sky.

    Like breathing and blinking
    or life, when we die.

    The struggle imposed,
    on a day incomplete.

    To see in the darkness,
    taste bitter through sweet.

    Angelic shine in devil eyes,
    Windblown tresses,
    An superficial smiles,
    Enticing blatant temptation,
Causing a need for immediate redemption,
An escape needed from fables and lies.....
