This movie didn't blow my mind with its graphics, but with its message. In the back of my mind I knew some of what this movie talked about was going on, but this movie really brought it to the forefront. The movie - Hot Coffee. Its a documentary about Tort reform and Binding Arbitration. Of course whenever one watches anything about an issue, you must do your due diligence and make sure you understand both sides of the story. I do think this movie helps give the other side of some very famous lawsuits, such as the McDonald's Hot Coffee suit. I think this is a must see for everyone. If you see this movie available, I highly recommend you watch. I saw it through Netflix.

Does anyone else have movies that really blew their mind and would highly recommend. The more obscure the better.

Anyone who's a fan of animation and a medieval fantasy setting should check out a little Irish independent film called The Secret of Kells. At it's base it's not your typical adventure story, but rather follows a young boy in a village walled away from the barbaric world on the outside who spends his days learning about illumination... essentially the art of writing. The story revolves around the individual quests to complete The Book of Kells, a book brimming with secret wisdom and powers.

The animation style is a little like the old Star Wars Clone Wars animations (not the CGI version, but the traditional 2D style that later spawned the movie and TV series). Some may be a bit bored by the lack of action but to me this was a tale that had a pretty unique focus and it leaves me longing for more of a similar vein.

Last I checked it was available on Hulu.
