We have started a role playing thread on our Facebook group but I wanted to continue it here. This is the story so far, any person/character is able to join and we embrace any new path this story may take. I would love to see some old characters come back too!

Siren Cove II
Sea girl sits precariously on the side of the cliff that encompasses Siren Cove. It has been such a long time since she sat here, in the spot that overlooks all that used to belong to herself, her sisters and brothers. She had changed life paths, even bore child but the embers in her heart had burned so strongly lately, she had to return. Maybe no one will meet her here, maybe she will frolic once again, with ones she had loved. She just had to try.
Combing her fingers through her deeply tangled, long hair, lightened from age, she scans the horizon. She lays heavy seashells along the cliffside, a message to any one important enough to read it. With an expert flick of her tail, she arches her body and dives in to the bottle green ocean, knowing that she will check again tomorrow, for her beloved playtoys......

Mordsithgrl:

A shadow crosses over the sun as Adara finally reaches the shores of Siren Isle. The powerful wings of the gryphon starting to tire from the long journey. Quickly she dives to the lagoon for a quick snack and drink for refreshment. Then, after making a lap around the Isle, taking in and remembering all its splendor, she heads for her favorite cove.
The cove where who old friends and merfolk used to be regularly seen. In anticipation her heart swells with excitement.

Alas, the cove is empty. She had expected this as it has been years. However, she decides to give it a shot. She dives down toward the ocean and soars above its waters letting out a screech and skimming the water with her sharp talons. She grabs one last snack and heads to her favorite high point on the Isle. As she swallows the fish, she watches the ripples she created roll out across the ocean's surface. Will anyone hear her call? Would they even remember it and respond? Or, would it attract new company and friends?

It is then she spots a message, written with sea shells no less. Someone had been here, but how old is the message?

She quietly settles down for a nap and remembers all the fun times she had here. Then, a bit of sadness as a tear rolls down her feathers. Even if others come, she knows the Dancing King will not.

She reminisces about a bonfire on the beach where the Dancing King had started a dance party, of course. She sees the merfolk and their king, a fellow sky rider, and the Elusive King sitting in the shadows. With this memory, she drifts into a slumber upon her favorite perch overlooking all of Siren Isle.

Ckyle7:

As dawn breaks, Sea Girl swims lazily in to Siren Isle, enjoying its underwater garden and collecting coral for her treasure trove. She doesn't expect anyone has answered her messages but feels she needs to visit and make sure Siren Isle is properly looked after.

As she swims delicately through the mouth of the cove, she looks toward the horizon. The newly formed daylight is a lot for her deep sea eyes to take in but she squints against the strong sunlight, up to the lookout cliff. Could it be? There is a gentle, almost invisible form, resting up there. As her eyes adjust, she can make out the sleek, glossy feathers of a beautiful bird-like creature. Or maybe a small dragon? She stares, almost unbelieving, as the great creature shuffles its feathers and turns over, finding a more comfortable position. Could it be? Only one creature that she knows of, took on such a form. Only one creature exuded such majesty and grace when they took to the sky. Only Adara would look so regal while sleeping....

Sea Girl's heart raced. She flipped her tail through the water, trying to get ashore as fast as she could. With a mighty thrust, her powerful tail shot her through the sky and she landed next to the sleeping queen of the sky. It was her. Sea Girl couldn't believe who was before her.

As her fingers stroked the griffin's rich feathers, Sea Girl watched her body heave as she slept contentedly. Basking in this wonderous moment, her play friend had returned to her! She moved a piece of dry brush from adara's eyes and whispered lovingly to her....

"Welcome home, my beauty....."

Mordsithgrl:

Adara's slumber is deep, but she feels the light tug of reality waking her up. She starts to make out gentle strokes on her feathers, she gently opens her eyes to see if friend or foe. Squinting her groggy eyes she sees a shimmering scaly tail in front of her. Clearly she is still between sleep and wake. She shakes her head trying to clear the fog in her head. Her sharp eyes quickly adjust to the sunlight and she sees a mermaid before her...up here...how? She looks closely and even though years have gone she knows only one is powerful enough to tail kick up here. Was she still dreaming?

She shakes her head again and realizes she is fully awake. "Sea Girl!" Full of excitement she jumps up and fully extends her wings in an excited dance. Forgetting they were up high, she accidentally knocks Sea Girl from the cliff. Sea Girl starts to plunge toward the ground, but she doesn't scream, she knows her gryphon friend well.

Quickly, Adara dives downward and catches sea girl. With a sly smile, Adara exclaims, "hold on tight!"

As she feels Sea Girl grasp her feathers tightly, Adara starts zooming around the Isle, performing dives and somersaults. After they both almost laugh themselves to death, Adara gently lands in the shallow of the cove.

Sea Girl gently slides off her back and Adara leans forward for a proper hug from her merfriend.

"Oh, how I have missed you, I hope the others will come too. Or, maybe even see new inhabitants that have found their way to Siren Isle."

Amethyst:

Blonde Siren wakes with a start, sliding ungracefully off her rock into the warm ocean currents as a black shadow flies above her. She squints up through the harsh sunlight and watches as the shape flies in the direction of a beloved location. She grins and expertly dives beneath the waves towards Siren Isle. Over the years she had regular meetings with Sea Girl, but no other, a change was in the air, a wonderful change. She pops up out of the water in the shallow cove, laughing and waving merrily at the two beauties before her.

Mordsithgrl:

Adara looks up and sees another familiar face, the blonde siren! She is completely overjoyed and ecstatic as seeing not one, but two old dear friends. She's starts prancing about and throwing her wings in and out splashing the sirens. She then steps on slips on a mossy rock and hits her head. She will be "knocked out" for several hours. But even in her state, they can see she is ok and happy.

Ckyle7:

Sea Girl's smile instantly turns to worry as she sees the graceful griffin slip and fall. She understands Adara is okay and insanely happy to be here, so with a knowing grin and sensual wink to the blonde Siren, she begins to braid a feathery bed for the sister of flight to rest upon. Gathering small, white flowers and taking her other siren's hand, they begin to weave, while singing a happy and loving melody to the beautiful, sleeping one. So much ecstasy in their chiming vocals, so delighted to be together again....
