Biggest Positive? Well, with the possibility of not seeing family this year... the biggest positive is... well, some alone time for writing I suppose.

The biggest negative, aside from possibly not seeing family, is easily Black Friday.

You're going to be having a dinner party. What five historical figures will you be inviting and why?

Okay, my "historical" figures probably relate more to other types of history than I think you are inferring but still relevant to me, nonetheless....
1] Janis Joplin. I want to talk with her about love and life, what inspired her most and what she'd do differently.
2] Frida Khalo. I would like to pick her brains about what she went through and how creating art got her through such horrific circumstances.
3] Carly Simon. Just because I want to know what the person I was named after, is really like!
4] My Poppy. Well, since it is hypothetical, I gather I can invite whoever I want. Since it is an historical context, I'd ask him about fighting in the war (but really I just want to hug him and talk with him about nothing, like we used to when I was a kid).
And 5] Nelson Mandela. Do I really need to say why?

    Okay........
3 facts not many people know about you?

Oh good question...There has always been one defining moment in my life (in my childhood) that changed me profoundly. I have always thought that I would change it if I could, but now seeing where I am today and who I share my life with...I'm going to say no, I would not go back and change it. If I changed it I may not have what I have now and that won't do at all. So, No, for me. Smile

Okay....If you could hang out with one character from any book in real life, who would it be and why? Smile

Not really a broadway play person, but if game of thrones ever gets there apparently I would make a good Hodor! Soooo, all my scenes would involve ... Hodorhodorhodor....hoooooodor... and so on and so forth!!!

HBO throw a ton of cash at you and ask you to sort them out with a new 6 series tv show, what's your plot summary?

If you could go back in time and invent something before the actual inventor, what would it be? (light bulb, tennis shoe, motor car etc)

I have a habit of responding to stuff with the first thought out of my head rather than taking a few seconds to process what I have just heard, although that seems to be improving a little with age, but yes, that has quite often landed Me in trouble.

Do you squash insects that turn up uninvited to your home or simply relocate them to the outside world using a glass or whatever?

Depends on the insect. Spiders and mosquitoes get a resounding "squash" response but all other insects are captured and released back in to the wild. Yes, I know, I'm lame haha.

    Biggest regret?

I meant where a book caused bodily harm, such as book falling on your foot and resulting in a broken toe or nasty paper cut or tripping over one and losing a limb or something like that

I think it was the time when Sean Connery said "a book fell on my head. I can only blame my self"

What is the worst lie you've ever told?
