PI logo contest!

So, in conclusion to the PI discussion making pole, I've (we've) decided to to direct the PI forum directly toward us as a group and not necessarily toward Terry. His work is a part of us, but "us" is a much bigger thing as far as this group goes. What this means is, we are changing the logo. See that thing that says "Terry Goodkind" up there? its a pic and if you win the contest your choice selection will be posted there. First, I need entries. Post pics you want to propose on this forum. When an adequate number of entries are made we will do a pole to select the winner. Remember all entries must fallow forum rules as posted under the rules forum. Best of luck to you!

My biggest fear is that this particular logo may force a change in the entire color-scheme. Although I find it damn cool nonetheless.

actually my fear is that its too big. I need it to be like a strip... but, I have a feeling you can work on that. And yeah I don't want to change the scheme lol.

Problem is right now the program I'm using doesn't allow for a black background. But maybe I can do something different that wouldn't be effected so much. And no, it's actually not too big. My own forum has a rather large logo. LOL

But to be honest, something like this would be okay too.

Is it a requirement of the Admin to not be able to spell (technically its grammar I think) j/k *pole vs poll*

Not a requirement, but it is handed down from generation to generation.  

more of a tradition than anything else.

Also was used as proof of my ID when we had a chat room. People would not believe it was me unless my spelling was bad or I banned the account the person who was questioning me.

lol people aren't p'erf3ct". I'm not a fan of grammar perfectionist. It would be one way that would cross my mind to abuse my power: I'd be tempted to change the name of a grammar perfectionist to a misspelling. I'd also note that I don't think the term "grammar nazi" is very appropriate.

personally I like Zedds a lot. I think it could give rainshadow some ideas.

Darn!! I reeeeaaally wish my computer was working so I could be participating in this! Making logos for my forums, especially TWoPI was a favorite pastime of mine.

You should be aiming for a transparent background o.O  I have nothing to offer in terms of creativity to this thread, but if you make the image and need someone else to photoshop out the background I can do that.

Example (did this in 10 seconds so didnt take the time to make it pretty or anything just magic wanded it and threw it on a transparent background, theres still white in the inside of letters and stuff):

Actually, I know. I made that attempt, but it didn't work out.
