Re: Sea Girl's Call
(If I post now, I'm sure you can forgive my lateness lovely)
*Amethyst watched, her eyes flickering back and forth between the lady and her minions as they unfastened something above her eye level. While the words of the female sounded true, Amethyst was sure these creatures meant to betray her and destroy everything she held dear.
Amethyst began forming a backup plan in her mind. If these invaders were to destroy her, she would take them all down with her. She knew there was a way to unlock the ocean's incredible fury, drowning everything in the immediate vicinity, she just had to be strong enough to tap into it and had to be sure this was the only way as there would be no survivors.
She smelt treachery, just as her ancestors had. Amethyst decided to play along for now. The Lady sounded trustworthy, but how long would the Lizards follow her and do what she told them. Her thoughts then turned back to the wreckage and the treasures it could hold. She turned away from the awful creatures and their ship and began swimming through the waves in the direction of the wreck, every so often turning her head back to see the Lady rowing behind her.
With every glance Amethyst appraised the Lady, so grand and majestic, how could such a figure lead a horrible horde.
The ruins suddenly loomed in front of her. She looked around for her sister and decided Seagirl must have found her spoils already and taken it down to her lair. Amethyst spotted a shining gold object bobbing along and immediately snatched it up. She examined the gold circular object, she had no use for it, but it sure was pretty. All thoughts of Lizards flew from her mind as more of the debris began to drift past her. Amethyst saw the Lady stand up in her boat about to climb aboard the remains of the ship.*
